I do produce professional-quality work every so often :]
I'm Megan, a seventeen-year-old from Waverly, Iowa. I moved here from Buffalo, New York (where I developed a bit of personality...), and I've lived here for well over eight years. I'm a SENIOR in high school who hopes to pursue a college education in International Business and/or Foreign Language (Spanish, Portuguese). I'm really excited to see where my life takes me, but for now I'm focusing on photography as a getaway hobby to keep me busy. :]
I have been working on photography non-professionally for maybe three years now. I didn't start to take it seriously until around early 2008. I'm improving with every shot I take. Though I prefer and specialize in portrait photography, I experiment from time to time with still life or landscapes (though I'm not sure how good I am at it...)
I will confess right away that I don't always do "normal" pictures. I like being creative and fun, making weird faces, experimenting with poses, and using strange props
("Go Hawk"-colored mittens). I will always do what I can to make the person in my shot the center of attention, and there's no harm in having a little fun!
I have fun with what I do, and I love doing it.
